The conversation between Lavrov and Blinken in Stockholm lasted 40 minutes.
The meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken ended 40 minutes later. According to RIA Novosti, it was held "on the sidelines" of the OSCE ministerial meeting in Stockholm.
Before the start of the talks, the heads of diplomatic departments made an opening speech, then left, continuing to communicate in a format closed to the press.
The agency recalls that this is the second personal contact in a year between the heads of the foreign ministries. The first meeting took place in May in Reykjavik as part of the Arctic Council. It lasted about two hours.
