Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Astana to attend the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Here he will meet with a number of leaders of the member countries of the organization. This is reported by the Kremlin website.
In the capital of Kazakhstan, Putin plans to take part in a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO, as well as to hold bilateral meetings.
Earlier it became known that during his visit to Astana for the SCO summit, which will be held on July 3-4, the Russian president will hold talks with his Turkish counterpart, as well as with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov said that on the margins of the summit, the head of state will discuss with Recep Tayyip Erdogan the details of the upcoming visit to Turkey.
Recall that Putin threatened the United States, sending ships to Cuba. Earlier it became known about the visit of ships of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Federation to Cuba.
