The United States is not interested in sending ground troops to Ukraine, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has said.
He emphasized that there would not be a single US soldier on Ukrainian soil. An incorrect political decision would trigger a reaction from other NATO countries and provoke a direct conflict with Russia, which is not in the interests of any of the countries in the alliance and could threaten their national security.
According to Blinken, Russian President Vladimir Putin is not interested in expanding the conflict, especially with the involvement of a NATO country.
