Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement agreed to extend the truce for another day

According to the Wall Street Journal, citing Egyptian officials, Israeli authorities and the Palestinian Hamas movement on Thursday, November 30, agreed to extend a temporary truce in the Gaza Strip for an eighth day.

An additional 10 hostages, including women and children, are expected to be released, the publication noted.

On Thursday morning, the Qatari Foreign Ministry confirmed a one-day extension of the humanitarian pause in Gaza, which is due to end at 07:00 (08.00 Moscow time) on Friday, December 1. An hour before the deadline, the IDF reported the sounds of an air alert in settlements near the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, Hamas said it was ready to exchange all IDF military personnel for all Palestinian prisoners.
