Meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers concluded in Geneva

It lasted six hours. The armed confrontation in Nagorno-Karabakh has been going on for more than a month.

The meeting between Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Zograb Mnatsakanyan and Jeykhun Bayramov ended in Geneva. This was reported by the press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Anna Nagdalyan.

In total, the representative of the foreign ministry noted, the negotiations lasted six hours.

According to representatives of the OSCE Minsk Group, which is the mediator in the negotiations, the parties agreed to stop attacks on civilians and objects that are not military.

We remind that this is not the first attempt by Yerevan and Baku to agree on a truce. Each time it ended in mutual fire. The conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh has been going on for more than a month - since September 27.

Russia also takes part in the peace settlement. It expressed concern at the presence of foreign fighters in the war zone. Militants are coming from the Middle East.

The count of the dead goes to thousands.
