The Chinese Defense Ministry has assessed the nature of military relations with Russia. At the same time, the ministry expressed hope for cooperation with the United States as well.
The Chinese Defense Ministry declared that unnecessary rivalry with America poses problems and that cooperation on the basis of mutual respect will benefit Washington and Beijing. The ministry hopes to reach a consensus with America. China noted that Washington should not provoke new conflict situations.
Cooperation is the only way for China and the US to benefit and avoid competition. Much depends on the Americans; they should see Beijing as an equal partner.
China is ready to deepen Sino-Russian military relations in the new era, the countries should become a positive energy for the protection of interests, peace and stability.
