The mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin has reported on the number of sole proprietors working in the capital.
According to the mayor, there are 385 thousand individual entrepreneurs working in Moscow now.
Based on this data, it turned out that all individual entrepreneurs provide 142 thousand people in general (12.5% more compared to 2022).
In first place on the number of individual entrepreneurs is the trade sector (over 30%), followed by construction and real estate (over 15%). In third place - scientific and technical activities (over 13%).
"The number of IEs is growing largely due to urban support programs, convenient registration, special tax regimes and simplified paperwork", - said Sobyanin in his report.
