On Thursday, July 28, an inspection raided restaurants and cafes in Moscow owned by rapper Alisher Morgenstern (recognized as a foreign agent).
The restaurant "Kaif and Dot," which recently opened after a rebranding and a burger joint, was visited by representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Rospotrebnadzor, the prosecutor's office and the police.
It looks like the musician has hit a rough patch; first he was prosecuted for drug propaganda. Morgenstern and his wife left Russia in order to avoid punishment. Then news came from abroad that the performer's marriage had broken up. After a while, the rapper was listed as a foreign agent.
And here's new trouble. As it turned out, Morgenstern's establishments had long received complaints about violations of fire safety, sanitary and migration rules. There have even been signals about the possible sale of drugs.
Ekaterina Mizulina, director of the Safe Internet League, told this story. An appeal to the prosecutor's office with a request to check public catering outlets came from her organization, writes TASS.
