Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his personal blog spoke about the results of the celebration of style and beauty that took place in Moscow. Shows were held from 20 to 26 June in squares, parks and even at the Mayakovskaya metro station.
More than 450 domestic designers, both famous and debutants, presented their collections. Designer clothes, shoes and accessories could not only be seen, but also purchased in four markets operating within the framework of the event.
There was a showroom for business representatives in Gostiny Dvor, on the site of which contracts for 60 million rubles were signed.
More than 2,700 models, 208 stylists and make-up artists were involved in the shows, over 3,000 images were shown. The main venue is located in the Zaryadye park - more than 70 shows took place there.
Tverskaya Square has become the venue for the Moscow Fashion Week, bringing together 35 venues. In addition to 50 shows, there were 110 concerts and more than 1,300 master classes.
VDNKh has become a fashion platform for the youngest ones: there were shows of children's clothing, including those from young, novice fashion designers.
