Moscow doctors to use artificial intelligence in radiation diagnostics

The mayor of Moscow announced that specialists are ready to use new AI services for radiological research.

The list of diseases for which decisions will be made on the basis of "computer vision" technologies will be expanded. These include lung collapse, soft tissue changes in the chest and brain vessels. The list of AI-based programs for diagnosing pediatric pathologies, including dysplastic changes in the hip joint, will also be expanded.

Access to the platform with AI services has been open to medical organizations in Russia since the beginning of February. The entire system is based at the Diagnostics and Telemedicine Center of the Moscow Health Department.

This information was confirmed by the mayor of Moscow through his Telegram channel, noting that doctors are ready to test and implement new technologies based on artificial intelligence for radiation studies.
