Vaccination of volunteers with Sputnik Light started in Moscow

Vaccination with the Sputnik Light vaccine has started for the first volunteers in Moscow. In the future, this version of the drug is going to be used in combination with the two-component Sputnik V.

This was announced by the deputy head of the city, Anastasia Rakova. According to her, not many volunteers have been vaccinated so far, but many applications have already been submitted, and the volume of vaccination will be increased soon.

So far, the volunteers have been tested, and medics have already examined 490 of them.

Earlier, Rakova said that when the Sputnik Light trials are over, the vaccine might be used for revaccination. It is similar in composition to the first component of Sputnik V.

"Sputnik Light can be used to vaccinate those who have already had the coronavirus, but their antibody levels are decreasing. The lite vaccine should also be used in cases of initially low antibody production.
