Muscovite Nadezhda Astanina gathered a team of like-minded activists who are engaged in the restoration of the ecosystem of the capital's yards.
Astanina, a landscape architect, in 2017 received an order from the residents of the yard, who wanted to ennoble the wasteland near the house, which appeared after the garages were demolished.
Together with a colleague, they began to study plants characteristic of Moscow.
The first project fascinated the Muscovite so much that she gathered a group of like-minded biologist, another landscape architect, an ecologist and a promoter. Now the team of activists together restores the ecosystem of the capital's courtyards. They have achieved such success in their field that they shared their experience at the Sorbonne in an international forum on ecological design, reports Moslenta.
