Moscow court extends arrest of WSJ journalist Gershkovich for three months in espionage case

Thus, the correspondent of the Moscow bureau of the Wall Street Journal Evan Gershkovich extended his arrest for three months, until November 30, RIA "Novosti".

Gershkovich is on trial for espionage. The journalist was detained in Yekaterinburg and arrested at the end of March 2023. Then he was sent in custody for two months.

According to the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, the correspondent was taken red-handed.

According to the FSB, Gershkovich was engaged in data collection at a defense industry enterprise on behalf of the United States.
