Three elderly Muscovites living in the north-east of the capital, believed the scammers and threw them from the balcony one million rubles. About it informs the portal "MIA Media".

All three women were the victims of fraud, which was held in a single fraudulent scheme. First, an imaginary policeman called the pensioners and asked for help in exposing the swindlers. And in order to catch the criminals red-handed, according to the false policeman, it was necessary to comply with all their demands.

The trusting elderly women went along with the "law enforcement", withdrew the accumulated funds from their bank accounts, and dropped the money, as it was said, from the balconies. The courier would pick it up and safely walk away. Thus, a total of one million rubles was thrown to the wind.

Police officers of districts Schukino and South Tushino detained one of the members of the criminal group - a 29-year-old man. He became a defendant in a criminal case of fraud and is currently in custody.
