From November 30 to December 3, Moscow will host the exhibition «PROrestoration. Import substitution in restoration materials and technologies», said Alexey Emelyanov, Head of the Department of Cultural Heritage.
According to him, in 2023 the authorities decided to increase the exposition area from 2.5 thousand square meters in the center of contemporary art "Winzavod" to 4.5 thousand on two floors of Ivan Sytin's printing house.
More than 100 solutions and technologies for the preservation of monuments will be presented. 200 events have been prepared. The guests will also see the architecture of the historical walls of the building, where almost every fourth book in the capital used to be printed.
Visitors will be able to take part in master classes - to restore ceramics, cast iron plates and much more. The exhibition will be held at the address: Pyatnitskaya Street, 71.
