The festival Moscow - on the Wave. Fish Week, which will be held at 31 venues across the city.
Such information was published on the portal of the Mayor and Government of Moscow. Sergey Sobyanin called the event one of the “most delicious and memorable”.
In his Telegram channel, the mayor of Moscow wrote that the festival will present more than 600 products from Russia and neighboring countries.
Guests of the festival will be able to try tuna chips with sesame, grilled shrimp, fish kebabs.
Three thousand chain stores and more than 140 markets and fairs will take part in the event.
The festival will also feature about 500 culinary master classes, where participants will be taught how to cook fish dishes from different regions of the country. Children will be able to mold fish and sea creatures from marzipan mass, as well as color ginger cookies in the shape of fish.
At the fish market “Moscow - on the Wave” in Kosine-Ukhtomsky and on Manezh Square there will be culinary battles of Moscow chefs. They will offer their fish dishes, and the winners will be chosen by the audience after tasting.
The festival guests will also be able to take part in the Fishing Championship. The main prize of the competition will be 1 million rubles. On May 25, a costumed SUP regatta will be held, and the next day SUP-surfers will compete for the Cup “Moscow on the Wave”.
The festival will be held from May 24 to June 2.
