Snowfalls will continue all week.
On Wednesday, November 16, leading employee of the weather center "Phobos" Eugene Tishkovets said that by the end of this week the height of the snow cover in the capital may be 20 centimeters. He also noted that this amount of snow is the norm for the end of December.
According to the meteorologist, it will snow all week, but the snowfall will only intensify by the weekend. And because of this, real snow drifts will grow in the capital. They will reach such a size that the snow line will sink to the level of 20 centimeters.
Also according to him, to date, the height of snow cover in Moscow is about five to ten centimeters. And this figure corresponds to the beginning of December.
