The first deputy head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Moscow is suspected of accepting a large bribe.

On November 18, the first deputy chief of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in Moscow, Andrei Mishchenko, and his colleague Viktor Samarin, suspected of taking bribes, were detained, the media reported, citing a law enforcement source.

According to the informant, they are suspected of receiving illegal monetary reward "for approving anti-terrorist security passports."

In addition, according to preliminary data, Mishchenko has set the price for obtaining safety data sheets for commercial organizations in the amount of 70 thousand rubles.

Viktor Samarin, who is involved in the same case, according to the investigation, took bribes in the amount of 50 thousand rubles for the same services.

At the moment, after the investigation, Mishchenko was released.
