238 Christmas tree bazaars opened in Moscow on December 20, according to the official website of the mayor of the capital. For the New Year holidays, spruce trees from the Perm Territory, the Penza Region, pines from the Ulyanovsk, Saratov and other regions of Russia arrived in Moscow.
Here you can buy fir, spruce branches, as well as seedlings of coniferous trees for personal backyard plots. The bazaars will be open until December 31, 2021.
According to Alexei Nemeryuk, the first deputy of the Mayor and the Government of Moscow, the Head of the Department of Trade and Services, all Christmas tree markets about 240. In the western districts of Moscow there are the most of them.
"I hope that there are enough Christmas trees brought and everyone who wants to put a live beauty at home before the New Year, will be able to do so," - said the official.
