In 24 hours, 5700 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the capital.
According to Moscow's emergency operations center for control and monitoring of the coronavirus situation, 5700 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been detected in the capital. In the past 24 hours, 1598 people have been hospitalized. There were 639 people on life support. Another 3988 patients recovered after being treated for coronavirus infection.
Seventy-three patients died, all of whom were diagnosed with pneumonia and tested positive for COVID-19, the emergency operations center noted.
A total of 1 540 144 people in the capital were cured of the infection.
