The opening of the center of Moscow longevity "Izmailovo" took place on Tuesday, December 19. It has a multifunctional assembly hall, gym and gyms, cooking studio, living room, creative workshops. Sobyanin met with the first guests. The mayor congratulated them on the coming New Year, decorated the Christmas tree with a symbolic ball.
According to Sobyanin, such centers will be in most districts of the capital. The mayor emphasized that it is not about their number, but about the fact that they are filled with love and warmth of heart by visitors. Here you can socialize, relax and do what you like, he said.
The Moscow Longevity project was launched in March 2018. The first center was opened in 2019. 530 thousand Muscovites joined the project. Participants can attend free classes in 40 directions.
This year, two projects were launched: "Health School" and "Silver Mentoring".
Within the framework of the latter, senior citizens spend time with children who were left without parental care. Now in the project 700 people.
