In the period from January to June 2024, Moscow saved more than 11 billion rubles through the use of the technology of formation and examination of the cost of contracts (NMCC(E)) in the field of public procurement. This was announced by Maria Bagreeva, Deputy Mayor of the capital and Head of the Department of Economic Policy and Development of the city.

During the period in question, the experts issued 1,148 conclusions concerning the declared procurement amount of 590.47 billion rubles. Thanks to the expert examination of the initial maximum prices of contracts, it was possible to significantly reduce the declared costs and cut budget expenditures by 11.53 billion rubles.

According to the department's press service, the expertise is conducted within the Department of Economic Policy and Development of Moscow, except for cases related to current repairs, landscaping, creation of pedestrian zones, demolition of objects, as well as the implementation of local measures and repair and restoration work.

For contracts worth more than 30 million rubles, concluded in accordance with 44-FZ, and the initial price of 50 million rubles or more under 223-FZ, the validity of NMCK(E) is checked, which contributes to more efficient spending of budget funds.

Earlier, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said that about 7.5 thousand families received new apartments on renovation in the west and more than 2 thousand in the north of Moscow.
