Streetcars will start running again along Trifonovskaya Street. The traffic is scheduled to start next year.

The message says that the movement of streetcars along Trifonovskaya Street is going to be launched next year. On this site it will be possible to get from Riga station to key points of attraction in the center of the capital, added in deptrans.
It is noted that this year the rails and sleepers will be completely renewed on the section of about three kilometers long. The work will be done by Moscow subway specialists. Next year it is planned to build a new section of tracks along Gilyarovsky St. with a turning circle near Riga station.
The head of deptrans Maxim Liksutov said that thanks to the return of streetcars to Trifonovskaya Street, more than 70 thousand people living or working in the area of the streetcar line will be provided with reliable transportation. With convenient transfers and minimum interval, the travel time will be reduced and the comfort of travel will increase, added Liksutov.
