Moscow museums are quarantined until January 15

Earlier, museums planned to prohibit only exhibitions, keeping the main exhibitions open.

Since November 16, all federal museums are suspended in Moscow. This decision was made by the Ministry of Culture of Russia.

The order reports that federal museums will be closed to visitors until January 15. Earlier, a similar decision was made in relation to city museums in Moscow.

It is also forbidden to hold any mass events in the premises of museums.

In addition, they established the maximum occupancy rate in theaters and concert halls of the capital - more than 25% of the total number of seats should not be occupied by spectators in the hall.

It is noted that 6,427 new cases of COVID-19 were discovered, and 4423 people recovered over the past day in Moscow.
