Scammers in Moscow try to vaccinate people at home

An unknown person disguised as a social worker is offering coronavirus vaccination to a physically challenged Muscovite at home.

The RIA News agency reported that fraudsters offer Moscow residents to be vaccinated against coronavirus at home. The newspaper specifies that the fraudsters introduce themselves as social workers.

"She introduced herself as a social security worker and offered to vaccinate right away, without wearing a medical gown or a suit," said a Muscovite named Irina.

This was not an isolated incident, before that another elderly woman received a phone call from alleged social workers offering to vaccinate her.

Both in the first and in the second case social services did not warn the Muscovites in advance that the medics would come to them.

We would remind that from April 13, mobile medical teams had been travelling to Moscow to vaccinate people against coronavirus (CVD) if they could not go to vaccination point themselves.

The RIA News agency did not say what exactly the scammers were trying to get from Muscovites.
