Moscow museums will open up to wider range of people

Pupils of private educational institutions will now be able to go to museums free of charge under the 'Museums for Children' programme, which involves 103 museums and exhibitions.

In Moscow there is a program "Museums for children". Children and teenagers can visit 103 museums of various kinds free of charge. During the three years of the project 750 thousand children have got acquainted with the exhibits and exhibitions, says the press service of the mayor and the government of the capital.

The mayor Sergei Sobyanin signed a decree according to which pupils of non-state educational institutions will be able to visit museums and exhibitions for free.

Previously, the authorities have told which cultural institutions participate in the programme and how it is possible to enter their halls for free.
