More than 22 thousand inhabitants of the capital use the new routes every day.
During 2022 ten new bus routes were opened in eight districts of Moscow, the portal of the mayor and the government of the city reports.
Thus, the most new routes appeared in the south-east of the city and in New Moscow - three in each district. Every day, new routes are used by more than 22 thousand inhabitants of the capital.
It is reported that more than 50 buses are employed on new routes, which carried about 880 thousand citizens.
Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport, Maxim Liksutov, said that in addition to new routes, 26 existing routes were extended last year, thanks to which the number of passengers increased from 76 thousand to 100 thousand Muscovites.
