The capital is actively introducing robotic complexes, silent innovative equipment for municipal works, and expanding the fleet of vehicles using natural gas as fuel.
Sergey Sobyanin shared information about the latest achievements in the field of housing and communal services in Moscow in his Telegram channel.
He said that robotic complexes for monitoring, maintenance and restoration of underground utilities are being actively introduced in the capital. Robots provide an opportunity to inspect engineering networks in areas inaccessible to people, while all the information obtained is recorded and analyzed.
This year, according to the Moscow mayor, testing of modern electric sweeping-vacuum machines manufactured in Russia has begun. Sobyanin noted that this compact and environmentally friendly technique can operate at any time of the year, and the level of noise produced by it is 75% lower than that of conventional diesel analogs. The city plans for the coming years - gradual transfer of part of the cleaning equipment to electric traction.
At the same time, the fleet of vehicles using natural gas as fuel is being expanded. Emissions of carbon monoxide into the atmosphere from these vehicles are 10 times less than from cars running on gasoline or diesel fuel.
A tunnel for the Shelepikha underwater gas pipeline was laid in Moscow.
