Fresh strawberries went on sale at weekend fairs in Moscow in the first week of May.
Customers have already bought more than 15 tons of berries. Such information was published on the portal of the Mayor and Government of Moscow.
The earliest strawberries ripen in the Crimea, then ripen in the Krasnodar Territory. These berries taste tender and juicy. The main varieties of Crimea and Kuban are “strawberry”, “Asia” and “Malvina”.
Also soon at the weekend fairs in Moscow you can buy about fifteen varieties of strawberries, including “caramel”, “clery”, “fleur”, “roxana” and “pineapple”.
In Moscow, 56 weekend fairs are available for visitors, of which 29 are seasonal and 27 are year-round. The trading platforms are open from Friday to Sunday from nine o'clock in the morning to nine o'clock in the evening.
