Sobyanin: 820,000 Muscovites have fully completed vaccination

The number of Muscovites who have received the first component of the vaccine has exceeded one million, according to the mayor.

The capital is fully stocked with the vaccine, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on his personal website. Almost 45% of those vaccinated were residents over the age of 60. Protection for them is most important, says Sobyanin.

Vaccinations are carried out every day at the in-patient clinics of the city polyclinics. In addition, outreach centres are operating in the capital's shopping centres. This week vaccination at home has been started for physically challenged Muscovites, who are clients of social services.

According to Sobyanin, only a few Muscovites have been vaccinated against the disease. The Mayor urged not to postpone vaccination, as summer is ahead - the time of holidays and holidays.
