By the end of February, more than 30 main city schools received new devices, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in his personal account.
Among them is the Moscow College of Management, Hotel Business and Information Technologies "Tsaritsyno". The IT Quantorium, the computer area and some laboratories were renovated there. More than 1200 devices were purchased for this purpose: modern monitors, high-performance computer units, powerful servers and software, interactive panels, laptops.
Three new laboratories were opened in the Moscow Automobile and Road School named after A. A. Nikolaev - a locksmith's laboratory, a mechanic's laboratory and a laboratory for automobile suspension diagnostics. More than 160 devices were purchased for them, including locksmith workbenches, drilling and sharpening machines.
"The task for this year is to modernize and re-equip 230 workshops and laboratories with modern equipment, as well as to create 90 new ones," Sobyanin stressed. The mayor also reminded that students of Moscow can study the work of classes and laboratories during the open days regularly held by the schools.
