Traditionally, Moscow parking lots will be made free of charge on New Year's holidays.
This was reported by the press service of the Moscow Department of Transport. Thus, from December 31 to January 8, all street parking in Moscow will be free.
It should be noted that this also applies to city parking lots in the very center of the capital at a rate of 380 rubles per hour. And already on January 9, it will be possible to park according to Sunday rules.
“We ask drivers to be attentive while driving and park without violations, so as not to provoke emergency situations and to enable public transport and other motorists to pass through,” Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport, wrote on social networks.
Earlier it was reported that transport expert Alexander Shumsky proposed to revise the cost of parking in the most popular and busy places in Moscow.
