Moscow pensioners will be able to get 10,000 rubles for COVID-19 vaccination

Elderly people in Moscow may receive a payment of 10,000 rubles if they are vaccinated against coronavirus.

Sergei Sobyanin, mayor of Moscow, said that elderly residents of the capital who have been vaccinated against coronavirus infection can receive a cash compensation of 10,000 rubles instead of gift sets "Taking care of health" (С заботой о здоровье).

New rules came into effect on October 12. To receive the payment, Muscovites over 65 years of age who have had at least one component vaccinated against COVID-19 should apply to any municipal social service center. You have to bring your passport and certificates of vaccination and of the gift set.
