Moscow city center will become freer on weekends

In the center of Moscow on the weekend several streets will become pedestrian because of the festival «Eat. Walk. Breathe.» This restriction will be in effect from 6 a.m. on July 13 to 23:59 on July 14, as reported on the official website of the mayor and government of the capital.

Within the framework of the project "Summer in Moscow", on the coming weekend Muscovites and guests of the city will enjoy a rich gastronomic, sports and entertainment program of the festival "Eat. Walk. Breathe." During this period Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street, Malaya Bronnaya Street, Bolshaya Dmitrovka Street and Gazetny Lane will be available only for pedestrians.

The restrictions will begin at 6:00 on July 13 and will last until 23:59 on July 14. They will also affect adjacent lanes such as Maly Kozikhinsky, Dmitrovsky, Maly Kislovsky, Bryusov, Romanov, Leontievsky, Kalashny, Spiridonievsky, Glinischevsky, Kozitsky, Petrovsky, Voznesensky, Sredny Kislovsky and Nikitsky. Changes in traffic will also be on Bolshaya Bronnaya Street.

In addition, the movement of bicycles, scooters, gyroscooters and monocycles will be prohibited on Malaya Bronnaya Street, Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street, Bolshaya Dmitrovka Street, as well as in Gazetny, Kamergersky and Glinishchevsky lanes and Tversky passage.

Parking will be prohibited from midnight on July 12 to 23:59 on July 14. Cabs will be available on Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya, Vozdvizhenka, Mokhovaya, Okhotny Ryad, Tverskaya, Petrovka streets, as well as on Tverskoy and Strastnoy boulevards.
