The mayor of the capital Sobyanin spoke about the arrangement of a site for model aircraft in the Chertanovo area.
Sergei Sobyanin, the mayor of Moscow, on his website announced plans for the development of a central site for model aircraft in the Chertanovo area.
“Now the largest Moscow center of aircraft modeling sports leaves much to be desired,” Sobyanin said.
Moscow mayor told about the upcoming works on the modernization of the cordodrom in Chertanovo Central, he also told about the creation of professional grounds for the launch of models, as well as the construction of a non-capital pavilion for classes in aircraft modeling circles and upgrading of sports and children's playgrounds located nearby in 2022.
Sergei Sobyanin hopes that in a year Chertanovo Tsentralnoye will be able to host all-Russian and even international competitions in aircraft modeling sports.
