Muscovites who returned from abroad neglected the requirement of Rospotrebnadzor and failed to provide coronavirus test results.
The authorities have fined 1,232 Muscovites totaling nearly 15.5 million rubles for failing to report PCR tests for coronavirus after returning from foreign trips. According to the Rospotrebnadzor department in Moscow, citizens are required to do so through the portal of public services within three days after their return.
The department's information says that 2% of citizens ignore the need to test for COVID-19 and do not enter the data on the single portal of state and municipal services.
Since August 1, 2020, the department's specialists have sent 5,420 notices to violators to appear for drawing up a protocol, some of which have reached the district courts. More than a thousand people have been fined and the number is set to rise. The remaining cases are pending before the courts, the department clarified.
