Sergey Sobyanin took part in the opening of new berths Beregovoy and Park Fili in Moscow, and also took part in the launch of four new electric vessels Kamenka, Pakhra, Lublinka and Kuznetsovka.
The ceremony was held in the videoconference mode during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
Sobyanin said that thanks to this decision, the first regular route of the river electric transport Kievsky - the Heart of the Capital to Fili Park was extended.
The Mayor of Moscow said that now the river transport will run twice as often. Thanks to this, more citizens and guests of Moscow will be able to try out the electric ship, Sobyanin added.
He noted that over 800 thousand people have already used the river routes for all the time of their operation.
