A preliminary cost of a passenger drone ride in the capital has been announced.
Alexander Atamanov, CEO of Hover, a drone taxi company, said today, on November 9, at the BarCamp National Technological Revolution 20.35 business conference that the price of an air taxi trip could be about 200 rubles per 1 km.
Atamanov said that the price of the trip includes the price of electricity, rental of sites, maintenance and other factors.
Air taxi development began in 2019. At this time, two years later, the project is already being tested.
By 2025, the production of passenger drones will be established in Moscow, Kazan, Ufa and Krasnoyarsk, and by 2030 assembly abroad will be organized.
Hover plans to start flying drones within a few years.
