In Moscow, most pharmacies are faced with a shortage of amoxicillin-based antibiotics. For example, Amoxiclav is practically nowhere to be found. Information about this first began to appear in a number of media, and then it was confirmed in the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

In one of the pharmacies a pharmacist said that it is impossible to buy the drug now - it is simply not available in pharmacies or warehouses. The only option is to order it via the Internet through popular services to search for drugs.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade explained that this shortage was due to several reasons. The first one is the seasonal increase of disease incidence, which occurs every year. And the second one is that people buy antibiotics to spare, despite the fact that they are sold on prescription.

The department noted that now the partial mobilization is over and new drug manufacturers are entering the Russian market, which means that the shortage will soon be over.
