Interchange on Lublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line in Moscow will become shorter

Since its opening in June 2022, the Moscow city station Pechatniki has served more than 2.2 million passengers, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in his Telegram channel. This station has become an important transportation hub uniting the MCD-2, Lublinsko-Dmitrovskaya and Bolshaya Koltsevaya metro lines, as well as ground transportation.

Sobyanin emphasized that the passenger traffic at MCD-2 "Pechatniki" continues to grow: currently 3.6 thousand passengers per day are served here, which is almost three times more than in the first month after the opening. The station is equipped with elevators, escalators and a safe crossing over the railroad tracks.

The city plans to improve the transfer to the Lublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line. Currently, the route takes about six minutes, including a detour through the streets and climbing stairs. In the future it is planned to reduce this route by building a canopy and a new exit from the subway under the overpass, which will make the movement between the lines faster and more convenient for passengers, summarized Sergei Sobyanin.

Earlier the capital authorities announced the improvement of 11 monuments at the expense of investors under a special program. Before that, Moscow decided on the sites for year-round fairs.
