The number of travelers and business trips has increased in Moscow. Such information was shared today by the head of the city Sergey Sobyanin.
"In the world, the tour business is recovering from the coronavirus pandemic. For the capital, 2019 turned out to be a record year. In 2023, 22% more guests visited Moscow. The number of business trips increased by 28%", - specified the mayor of Moscow.
According to the words of the mayor, Moscow is able to withstand the high speed of development of the tourism sphere through the development of infrastructure, the formation of new programs.
Sobyanin noted the benefit of digital means at all stages of travel. Over 70% of travelers use mobile applications for booking services and planning trips.
Moreover, last year Moscow hosted three major conferences in the field of tourism, which were attended by more than a thousand guests.
