Sobyanin opens reserve hospitals in Moscow for patients with COVID-19

The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, opened reserve hospitals for patients with COVID-19 in the Sokolniki and Krylatskoye districts. This was announced by the official portal of the mayor and government of Moscow.

The mayor of Moscow announced that the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 in the capital is approaching 1 thousand people per day.

"Due to the high dynamics of morbidity in the city, it was decided to put the first two hospitals in Sokolniki and Krylatsky into operation. These hospitals do not exist separately, but in the structure of the leading metropolitan hospitals that combat COVID-19," Sobyanin said.

The mayor noted that the hospitals have mobile X-ray and CT machines. There are intensive care rooms, where oxygen is supplied to each bed. According to Sobyanin, first of all, COVID-19 patients with mild and moderate disease Severity will come here.
