By the end of 2024 the number of such resettlers is planned to reach 200 thousand people.
More and more Muscovites are getting new housing as part of the renovation program. As of today 88.5 thousand program participants have received apartments, according to the Moscow Department of Urban Planning Policy. Among them 65,5 thousand people have already moved into new buildings, celebrating housewarming. It is planned by the end of 2024 to bring the number of internally displaced persons to 200 thousand people.
A total of 203 houses built for the renovation program have been commissioned in the capital. At present 185 of them are in the process of moving in. Another 410 houses are in the planning and construction phase.
An interesting fact is that almost 260 small and medium-sized businesses have opened on the first floors of the new houses built for those Muscovites who left their old apartments.
