Rare Amur tigers were born in Moscow zoo

These tigers are included in the Red List of Endangered Species.

According to the press service of the breeding ground, 4 Amur tigers were born in the Moscow Zoo: two male and two female cubs. The mother of the cubs closely looks after them. If she seems the cubs to be in danger, she begins roaring to call them home.

As Svetlana Akulova, Director General of the Moscow Zoo, said, in total, 8 Amur tigers live in the center near Moscow. The head of the family is a tiger named Tikhon, there are also 3 adult females and 4 cubs.

These tigers are included in the Red List of Endangered Species.
