Chief Specialist of Moscow Meteorological Office Tatyana Pozdnyakova on Saturday, July 1, said that in June the average monthly temperature in Moscow was below normal. In the south of the capital it was -0.8 degrees below the norm, and in the center by -0.4 degrees below.
Only once in the southwest of the city temperature exceeded +30 degrees.
According to weather forecasts on July 1, it will be cloudy and rainfall is expected in the capital. The daytime air temperature will not exceed 26 degrees Celsius, while at night it will drop to +14 degrees.
Early July in Moscow is predicted to be sunny and hot.
