Chairman of Moscow City Duma Alexei Shaposhnikov said that parliament is going to adopt the budget of Moscow for 2023 and planning period of 2024-2025 without amendments at the next meeting on January 2.

As Shaposhnikov said, consideration of the capital's budget will occur in conditions with which parliamentarians have never yet faced in modern history. It was made in conditions of unprecedented sanctions, severance of economic ties at the state level, financial blockade and other openly hostile actions.

It should be reminded that on October 10, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his address to regional heads that external pressure obliges them to show an even greater degree of responsibility in making decisions and requires consolidation of efforts to achieve their goals.

In this connection, the parliamentary majority formed by the parties Edinaya Rossiya, Spravedlivaya Rossiya and Moya Moskva, after considering the draft budget, supported the bill and came out with an agreed decision to pass it without amendments on November 2.
