The incident occurred within the Thai province of Chonburi.
According to ThaiRath, a garbage collector accidentally stumbled upon the corpse of a Russian woman on February 28. At that time, the woman was wearing a black sports top, shorts and white sneakers. Notably, both of the victim's knees were smashed to the point of bleeding. Police officers also noticed traces of blood that flowed out of the nose of the deceased.
Near the body of the Russian woman was found an electric scooter, a jacket with money, a belt bag with two smartphones and a player, a can of beer and marijuana. Police learned that the deceased was 36-year-old Alla K.
The body lay on the beach for approximately 6 hours before being discovered.
Authorities transported the corpse to Bangkok for an autopsy.
It is known that the Russian woman lived in the area of Bang Sarai, often rode an electric scooter and played sports on the beach.
