Azerbaijan began to spread information about the death of the Defense Minister and Commander of the Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Jalal Harutyunyan. Local media distributed a video on which the death of the minister can be captured.
According to the footage published by Haqqin, the unmanned vehicle tracks the movement of an official car in which Jalal Harutyunyan could be. The vehicle is later hit, and the footage shows how several people are lying near the car.
"The assassination of Harutyunyan was prepared by the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan that cooperated with the special services. The blow was dealt when the Minister of Defense of Nagorno-Karabakh was heading to one of the combat positions," Haqqin said in a statement.
Spokesman for Karabakh President Vahram Poghosyan said earlier that the Minister of Defense was wounded in the shelling, but nothing threatens his life. President Araik Harutyunyan ordered the dismissal of the injured head of the Ministry of Defense.
On Monday, October 26, a ceasefire agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan entered into force. Four minutes later, Baku accused Yerevan of violating the truce, later the Armenian side made similar accusations.
