Notices of poisoning of citizens from medical institutions of Yakutsk were received by the Department of Rospotrebnadzor for Yakutia on July 27.
On Thursday, July 27, residents of Yakutsk began to visit doctors en masse after eating rolls from a delivery service. This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor's office of the republic.
Judging by the messages in local social networks, at least 12 people were poisoned by Japanese food, some of them had to be hospitalized.
According to the press service of the prosecutor's office, medical institutions in Yakutsk received notices of poisoning of citizens. During the collection of epidemiological anamnesis it was established that all the sick people consumed ready meals from the delivery service from July 23 to July 25.
Rospotrebnadzor is currently investigating the incident. According to the Yakutsk Ministry of Health, there were 14 cases of intestinal infection associated with the consumption of Asian dishes from the delivery service.
Six people were hospitalized in an infectious disease hospital, the rest are being treated at home.
