A tragic incident occurred on the railroad in Komi when a passenger train traveling on the Vorkuta-Novorossiysk route derailed. The accident injured a family from Vorkuta, which was in one of the carriages. This was reported by Yuri, a relative of the victims, in an exclusive interview with 360.ru. According to him, a married couple and their teenage daughter were traveling in the train. As a result of the accident near Inta, all family members were injured.
"Now they have been transferred, they flew to Syktyvkar," - shared Yuri.
The girl, as the relative specified, received a fracture, and her parents - bruises.
"I know that cuts, bruises. The daughter has a fracture," he emphasized.
Yuri said that he was last in touch with his relatives on June 27.
"Contacted this morning. I just found out where they are. My brother told me that they have moved already to Syktyvkar," he concluded.
Eyewitnesses to the tragedy said that in one of the cars of the derailed train rode another large family. A woman with an infant in her arms, as well as her two other children managed to get out of the car window. Fortunately, they were not seriously injured.
At the moment, the causes of the train derailment are being established. Specialists are conducting a thorough investigation to identify all the circumstances of the incident.
